Time Proven Traditional Methods
We use time proven traditional methods to produce furniture that will live for generations to come. Our fine wood furniture improves with the passing of time. Traditional mortise and tenon and hand cut dovetail joinery are used throughout our pieces. No stronger wood joints have ever been devised.
Hand Tools
We still prefer to use hand tools and methods passed down from our forbears, such as hand carving and hand rubbed finishes. These human touches impart an organic feel which cannot be duplicated by machinery and mass production.
The Details Make The Difference
Solid brass hardware, seamless joinery, subtle touches like beaded corners and book matching door panels are standard on all of our work. Less obvious details included solid wood drawer bottoms and solid backs. These are the details that add a depth, richness, and durability conspicuously lacking in mass produced furnishings. We use only the finest hardwoods, finishes, and hardware available. Each piece of material is hand selected from Cherry, Maple, Black Walnut, and Mahogany.
